Mavidon is the leading medical device manufacturer in the US, specializing in products for the application of electrode leads. Mavidon is based in Lake Worth, Florida and distributes to medical facilities throughout the United State. We also sell through dozens of distributors domestically and worldwide. Our capabilities have extended into non medical areas in developing safer products for the art, special effects, printing and many other specialty areas.
Some of Mavidon’s Milestones
1986: Mavidon Corp. began manufacturing and distributing Collodion USP, Electrode Gel and Acetone to EEG facilities in the U.S.
1988: Developed Collodion HV as a request by technicians to control the flow of collodion.
1989: Developed Collodion Remover offering a safer alternative to acetone.
1993: A new corporation was formed with its new owner to separate Mavidon’s medical products from its industrial company.
1996: LemonPrep™ was developed and designed to serve as an abrasive skin preparation before neurodiagnostic testing.
1999: New manufacturing facility opened, focusing entirely on Mavidon’s medical product line, included in this opening was a new tube filling machine.
2003: Purchased a 2.3 acre industrial complex to increase our production and shipping capabilities, as our product demands increase.
2004: Acquired European Research Labs. This included hundreds of formulations for skin care, natural cleaners and analgesic gels. As well as, three mixers with capabilities of up to 600 gallons.
2004: Mavidon received ISO 13485 certificate for Medical Devices. This certifies our operating procedures of good manufacturing practices.
2005: Opened our contract packaging division for non medical products. Developing non flammable brush cleaners, and airbrush cleaners for the art industry.
2006: Introduced Medical Adhesive Remover
2006: Converted all our collodion cans to all aluminum with teflon seals for safer storage, shipping and product efficacy.
The aluminum cans are recyclable.
2007: Expanded our bottle filling line to keep up with demand.
2008: Developed and introduced Green Prep as a less abrasive alternative to LemonPrep.
2009: Introduced Single Use Cups for LemonPrep® and Green Prep
2009: Started the transformation of all our labels to conform with ISO certification to include Spanish, French, Italian and German languages.
2010: Installed a new high speed metal tube machine which increases our capacity tenfold.
2010: Introduced our three pack 4 oz tubes of LemonPrep and Green Prep.
Aluminum tubes are recyclable.
2011: Changed both our single use 15 ml and 2 oz collodion tubes to include a nozzle and cap, which helps to control the flow of collodion.
Aluminum tubes are recyclable.
2011: Discontinued the use of styrofoam peanuts. Replaced with biodegradable eco-friendly air packs.

Mavidon follows FDA, and ISO 13485 operating procedures for good manufacturing practices. We are committed to developing new and improved products and packaging for our customers. Our marketing staff, technicians and network of distributors are all involved in identifying new product ideas.

Contract Packaging Division: Mavidon offers it resources and capabilities for both medical and non medical products. We offer bottle filling, metal tube filling, cup filling for a wide variety of products including solvents, hair conditioners, hand lotions/cleaners and much more. We also fill and package your products to your specifications.
