About Mavidon
Mavidon is the leading medical device manufacturer in the US,
specializing in products for the application of electrode leads and therapy
products. Mavidon is based in Lake Worth, Florida and distributes to medical
facilities throughout the US. It sells direct as well as through select
distributors in the US and worldwide.
The Mavidon Story
In 1986, Mavidon Corp. began distributing Collodion USP,
Electrode Gel and Acetone to EEG facilities in the US. Mavidon continued to
develop new products to better serve the neurodiagnostic needs. In 1993, a new
Mavidon Medical Products division was formed as a separate entity to focus on
healthcare. New products introduced included Collodion Remover, Collodion HV,
Lemon Prep, Green Prep, and Medical Adhesive Remover. Mavidon opened its first
self-contained manufacturing facility in 1999 and expanded to a larger facility
in 2003. With increased capacity, new markets have been developed including its
expansion into the sports and therapy market. We offer No Pain Gels, Hot/cold
Gel Packs, Massage Lotions and Oils among other products in these markets.
European Research Labs was acquired in 2004, which added 23 new products
including advanced skin care lotions and powerful Natural cleaning products.
These will be offered for both private label or contract packaging.
Product Development
Mavidon follows FDA, ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 operating procedures for good
manufacturing practices.
Committed to developing new and improved products for its customers. The
Company’s marketing staff, manufacturers’ representatives, technicians and
network of distributors also identify new product ideas.
All Natural Cleaners, Equine Care, Healthcare are among the areas Mavidon will
extend its expertise and product line. Contract packaging, with business
partners, will enable us to focus on product development of new and exciting
products.
